New year, new shoes: 2021, the two of us.
Let’s raise a glass to 2021!
As any self-respecting shoe addict knows, 2020 hasn’t been the best of years for anyone, and certainly not for us when it comes to shoes. It’s been impossible to show off our beloved ankle boots with pride during our lunch breaks, our gorgeous thight-higs in the evenings or our favorite sneakers on a hectic shopping spree. So, to make up for all this, we’ll give it our all in 2021. From January to April, you’ll need to wrap up warm. So yay! You’ll still have time to fall in love with our Autumn/Winter 2020 collection (rather than this little cutie)!
Take the leap and get ready to start the year best foot forward!
This season’s champion is undoubtedly the boot. No matter what height or whether it’s suede or leather, black or multi-colored, it’s simply a must. And for good reason: when you’re wearing boots, you can have more fun with your outfit options:
- a suit and some knee-high boots in faux-leather for a classy but sassy ‘girl boss’ look,
- a textured mini-skirt with some flat thigh-highs for balance: perfect if you have to be on your feet all day before meeting up with your significant other,
- or some crocodile-effect cowboy boots combined with a flowing dress and a long, belted coat: a sharp and funky look that will make you the talk of the town!
- And this winter, it’s all about the cowboy boot versus the rain boot. Two schools of thought, and it’s true, two quite different looks, but they’re two must-haves that are hard to resist.
“To be happy, you first need to be comfortable in your own shoes. Everything else will follow on from there.”
And on the other hand, there’s the rain boot: truly indispensable to any fashionista this season. Of course, as well as going with your entire winter wardrobe and combining just as well with a relaxed look or a more sophisticated one, they’ll also keep your feet dry in the rain or snow! And there’s something to be said for that.
Conclusion
So, there we have it: despite a difficult year and a new one beginning that still remains uncertain, alongside an almost non-existent social life, it’s worth taking a little time to think about ourselves, and we owe ourselves some pleasure: so, it’s Vanessa Wu’s for us!
