A day in Provence with the Spring/Summer 2020 collection

Like a walk through the village

Forget the headache of packing a suitcase and the famous question "what should I bring?", and let yourself be guided for a day in this star-studded establishment to unveil these shoes that will accompany you all summer. Lightweight sneakers, golden nude shoes or even braided sandals with heels, the hardest thing to resist will be them.
 

A slow-walking morning 

A concept hotel combining tradition and contemporary decoration, the Hameau des Baux offers a timeless interlude in the pure tradition of Provence. We start the day without hurrying and enjoy one of the sunny terraces overlooking the surrounding countryside, which the rooms of this 19th century Provencal farmhouse have. In a light and intimate atmosphere, you slip your feet into a pair of mules with ergonomic soles. Their comfort makes them real slippers while their multicolored straps awaken the look and illuminate a silhouette in the blink of an eye without overdoing it, the perfect combo to start the day.  

A double star lunch

After having browsed the bookshop space of Acte Sud and the various works of art exposed here and there, wearing our sandals with small bows, which we also cherish as a creation with retro charm, we take the time to have lunch in the Hameau's canteen, which proposes a seasonal cuisine like a market return. You will enjoy it as much as the evening in the Michelin starred restaurant La Cicada. Amidst the exposed beams and the mirrors that bathe the room in light, we opt for Vanessa Wu sneakers with stylized soles and leopard details, the ultimate ingredient in a fresh recipe that will brighten up your outfit.  

A walk in the Provencal landscape 

Nestled in the heart of Les Baux-de-Provence, the Hameau is an ideal location to open the door to a still preserved nature. Surrounded by more than five hectares planted with olive trees, we willingly lose ourselves for a well-deserved break in the shade of one of these fruit trees. On the feet, comfort is the key word. We put on with envy sandals with rope soles, slightly platform that sling without making too much leg while keeping the ease of the flat. The ankle is delicately wrapped by a strap with buckles ensuring an optimal support to the fatal style. If we feel more adventurous, we put on sneakers with a dad shoes look that do not deny femininity thanks to their fishnet inserts. Comfortably shod and with the foot maintained, one jumps then in one of the vintage convertibles placed at the disposal by the owners of the places to leave to the discovery of the surrounding roads and the mineral landscapes of Alpilles.

A golden night

In the evening, we find ourselves on the square of the typically Provencal village reconstituted in the heart of the domain. Between its fountain and its two plane trees, you can put on your best sandals during a game of pétanque in a very sophisticated way. With heeled mules, peep-toe pumps or flat babies, you can wear your most beautiful shoes to bare your feet and let yourself be carried away by the sweet sweetness of warm summer nights.
